For those new to the NFC game, the variety of form factors, variants, and standards available for NFC compatible stickers can be daunting. For that reason we've put together an NFC starter kit -- complete with a USB reader writer as well as a variety of tags including regular and metal isolation stickers, multiple form factors, and both Ultralight (read-only) and Classic (re-writeable) integrated chip implementations. In addition to providing a variety of NFC experimentation options, this kit also comes with the customer service support associated with the Tagstand brand.
The USB NFC kit includes:
- One USB NFC Reader / Writer - ACR122U
- Ten Logo Ultralight C Stickers - Square (35mm x 35mm)
- Five Mifare Classic Stickers - Rectangle (86mm x 54mm)
- Six Outdoor Type 2 NFC Sticker - Circle (30mm)
- Four Type 2 NFC Token (Laundry) - Ultralight C - Circle (30mm)
Note: above mix of tags subject to change based on availability.
Note about the USB reader / writer: This reader by default does not come with any software. We do, however, have a terminal application in beta that works on Mac OSX. If you are interested, you can get the software here.
